GenoMedium is a plug-in based standalone user interface that uses the Eclipse Rich Client Platform which allows the user to query, visualize and analyze data using the tools available to the GCP Pantheon Informatics Platform.

Where did we derive the name from?
(Geno)me = The complete genetic content of an organism
Medium = A means or instrumentality for storing or communicating information
In this way, GenoMedium can be thought of simply as an application designed to communicate genomic information
