Section Description: Information on the source of the dataset, the species it concerns and the name and version of the dataset
| Field Name | Description | Conditions |
| Institute | FAO code(s) of institute which carried out the analysis if the data is from two or more institutes please provide each institute on a new line. The current set of institute codes can be found on the FAO website (http://apps3.fao.org/wiews). If FAO institute code does not exist create a temporary code which starts with an asterisk followed by the 3-letter ISO country code representing the country where the institute is located and the institute's acronym (e.g. '*NLDIFG') and place it in the "Institute codes and decoded values" section with this new code and additional details.

| Project Code | The name of the GCP project under which these data were collected
Example: GCP G4006.26 | Mandatory

| Principal Investigator | Name of the Principal Investigator.
Example: Dr John Smith | Mandatory

| Creation Date | Date the dataset was created in ISO 8601 format. This format is written in the form YYYY-MM-DD, where YYYY is the year in the usual Gregorian calendar, MM is the month of the year between 01 (January) and 12 (December), and DD is the day of the month between 01 and 31.
